I have nothing to say

I have nothing to say cause I've been waking up to this every morning this week in Hong Kong

I was working hard - no play at all (oh OK, the tinest bit of play, as evidenced over here at my flickr account) but it makes it sorta easier when that view greets you when you open your eyes at some ridiculous hour of the morning. Work travel is also made infintely easier when it features dinners of amazing chinese food like delicious spicy soft shell crab presented in traditional chinese gift baskets (and covered in the equivalent of a small country's supply of dried chilli)

and eaten in front of the back drop of an amazing view from high up in some cool new building.

(whoops I think my hand might have been shaking from a combination of vertigo from being so high and dizzy delight of such amazingly delicious food).

But once again I digress as I always do - it's the trickery I have to resort to when I have no time for craft. But then I get home and realise that even with limited time I managed to somehow without even noticing knit another pair of slippers.

Oh dear this blog is looking more and more like a baking and slipper knitting blog, agh how boring.

Speaking of baking I'm off to hack into my enormous lemon supply using this yummy sounding recipe from Bel.
.

I had to write it down though cause we've run out of ink in our printer, but it got me thinking about how nice it is to have hand written recipes, so I was thinking that I would give away a couple of my own recipes. They'll be hand written and you'll get something along the lines of a 3 course meal...sorta. If you want a set, leave a comment, first 5 commenters each get a different set of my favourite recipes, feel free to sell them for a profit on ebay!

Well I want to say that baking and slipper knitting blogs are not boring at all! Just in case you decide to head further down that path. And I would love some of your hand written recipes. I will slip them in the back of my nana's old recipie file which is jam packed with hand written recipies and old womens weekly rip-outs. But I will test them out first of course :-)

You're a busy little bee aren't you... hope the travel isn't getting you down. I believe we are the new movement in intermittent 'this is all I have time for' life blogs.

I'm not commenting for the recipes (not that I don't want them) because I have already received one fantastic gift from you. Just hoping you're ok.

wow. hong kong. i like baking. and slippers ar eokay, too. sometimes we have to let our blogs go in the direction they want, and then someday they'll come back to where they started. kind of like that old saying about if you love something set it free...and it will come back to you...

Damn it! I love getting hand written recipes but I have been a-internet this week. Really bummed about Friday by the way. Very jealous you were in HK - one of my favourite people lives there and I still haven't dragged my arse up there to see her...

Yay, you can all have recipes if you want them! I even bought a special surprise yesterday to go with the recipes so Ingrid, Naomi, Marianne, Brownpants, Bel, Bekka and Belinda you guys can all have recipes!

Sezz, you can have some too if you want (and happen to come back by this way) just let me know - I don't know how to track you down otherwise!

I'll drop you all an email next week or leave a comment on your blogs to start collecting addresses.
