Every year on the first weekend in December you'll find me mixing and boiling with my Mum until we churn out a few of these babies
We alternate recipes between Grandma and Great Nanny Lee. This year it was Nanny Lee's turn.
I just love this new tradition my Mum and I have created. I love that it's a way for us to stay connected with an old family tradition from both sides of my family. If we're lucky sometimes Grandma visits to make her pudding with us. I just love making old recipes from family members, especially Grandma.
This year Mum brought a good friend with her and last night we sat around our kitchen table while the puddings were boiling and chatted. It was wonderful. It's the simple things.
