Dinner Craft

Not strictly craft, but Bel from Taylor Street and I have done a special little swap - I sent her some chilli jam and she sent me some of her husbands homemade basil pesto. Thanks so much Bel - it was delicious! I followed your suggestion and pan fried some chicken breast and added extra toasted pinenuts to the pasta and pesto.

And the buttons were perfect! You didn't ask for anything from Melbourne but I tucked something special in there anyway, hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by the blog, and I can only encourage you to get cracking on a stretchy friend! And it's great to find another Melbourne blogger :-)

Now I'm really confused - are you Bianca and SadieandLance? If so thanks for ANOTHER comment on the blog! The animal puzzle is from a - you guessed it - Japanese magazine (cotton time 50 which is some kind of compilation I think. If you want details go to my Flickr account). It's a fatastic pattern, and a wonderful product, but increadibly time consuming! I am sure if you are doing a felt numbers book you have a pretty good idea about time consuming! Also the pattern is enormous. I reduced it alot to make mine because I use really nice and expensive wool felt if I made it their size we'd be talking a very very expensive product indeed.

So glad you liked the pesto, and the buttons. I like the can of melbourne strategically placed in the background too - my amber beverage of choice at home too!
