Hee hee hee. He's picking up our tantrum-throwing-almost-2-year-old-nephew off the floor of the video shop after the great Wiggles Wiggies DVD stand off. Which I forgot to tell you was the beginning of last weekends' fabulous family adventure.

Amongst the celebrations this week included:

- A visit from Mr Sadieandlances parents which created

- A fevered cleaning of the house on Friday night after work while Mr SandL kept the visitors at bay walking them on a 200km walk around the city to give me enough time to make the place look presentable.

- Ok so 200km is a slight exaggeration but the house was pretty filthy

- A lovely day trip to the Dandenong ranges today which we were only able to embark on after the arsehole who parked across our driveway moved his car. The dickhead was visiting the girl who lives across the alleyway so he should know better. We live next door to a carpark that was half empty - like I said, dick head. That's the 4th time we've been parked in - like I said, we live next door to a flipping car park. More morons.

- One of the founding members of the Association of Attention Deficient Crafters started her own blog. She rocks, love ya Brownpants. Although she's a new-ish knitter she's totally obsessed fearless. Brownpants = Clapotis in 8 days. My Knitting Hero.

- We had a BBQ, someone sang 'Patty cake patty cake Baker's Man, Bake me a cake as fast as you can' and so I did


- And then I iced them - oh and before photographing them I put some vaseline on the lense so they looked good in the shot - well, this is cake porn afterall (like the title says).


- We looked at some more houses. We almost decided to move into a caravan, or maybe just be renters for the rest of our lives. This stuff is hard work. We know we'll get there eventually. But just in case remind us to stick to our guns and not to give into any leaky old crap shacks masquerading as 'renovators delights' when we can't be bothered with the effort anymore. Oh, and thanks for all the comments on The Good The Bad and The Ugly post, you kids make a gal feel OK.

- I knitted the beginning of yet another pair of slippers. Not much time for craft this weekend.

- Planted my Yay-Spring-Is-Here garden. Photos to come.
